Hello. I'm Joyce and I'm addicted to social media.

I confess that I've been joining more social media sites lately for work purposes, but this is a place I can appreciate on a personal and intellectual level!

In a nutshell: I'm a Southern California transplant in the Midwest, a new mom, a longtime dweeb (I'm a veteran of the late, somewhat great Nando.net, one of the first news Web site) and an even longer-time newspaper editor who is trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up.

My work hours are goofy, so you might find me lurking here in the wee hours, in between sideline work in online book sales and a little freelance editing.

So glad to be a part of Boudica in its beta testing stage. Looking forward to getting to know you all. I see great things ahead here!
